Then explore ways to help mom throughout the year!

This Mother's Day, honor the women who brought you and your children into the world, as well as those who cared for and nurtured you throughout your childhood, with healthy enjoyment.

Women generally still feed the family
While certain aspects of our society have changed, and many mothers work long hours both inside and outside of the home, it is still oftentimes mom who does most of the cooking and makes the family's food choices.

Most of us honor our mothers and grandmothers one day a year in May, usually with a special meal, some flowers, a card, and a gift.

This year grill steaks for mom
You can make Mother's Day extra special this year by grilling steaks that are both delicious and healthy (everything a conscientious mom looks for in a meal) by serving up some of our premium Diamond F Brand 100% grass fed beef New York Strip Steaks.

Just for Mother's Day we're offering a fantastic special on New York Strip Steaks, which is often the steak of choice for women, as it is small, tender, and lean.

Give the gift that keeps on giving
You can also help mom throughout the year by giving her the opportunity for healthy and convenient meals that the whole family will love, and help her save precious and valuable time.

There are several ways to do that: For Mother's Day give the gift of a subscription to Grass Fed and Healthy so she can save money on our weekly member specials, as well as save time with our meal and menu planning tips, along with our shopping tips to help her make the most of her shopping time and find the best and healthiest food available. She can also download our latest report Wholesome Dining in a Fast Paced World, along with our Food Prep and Storage Chart.

Give her healthy convenience throughout the year as well
Another great gift of healthy convenience is our grass fed beef tamales and burritos. These southwestern products are so delicious and only take minutes to prepare, yet are made with healthy and wholesome ingredients. We will have a special on our "Southwestern Sampler" next week, and members will get them for an incredibly low price.

While it's good to show mom and grandma how much you care on Mother's Day, it's good to show them the love and respect they deserve throughout the year. Both Mike and I lost our mothers quite some time ago, and we miss them terribly. Our daughter didn't have any grandmothers after the age of 5 and she really missed out.

I only tell you that, as a reminder of how precious our loved ones are to us, and to not take them for granted because you never know how long you will have them.
