The method you prefer
Now you can choose the method of shipping grass fed beef that best suits your needs, when you order our Diamond F Brand Beef. You will have the option of U.S.Postal service, UPS, or Fed Ex, and whether you want it overnight, 2-day express, 3-day express, or shipped by ground.

Weights and zip codes
The new shipping calculator computes the shipping charges according to the declared shipping weight of the item(s) in your shopping cart, and the distance from our zip code to the destination zip code.

Members' shipping is still free
Members, now you get free shipping without the hassles of us having to refund your credit card for the shipping charges as we had to do in the past.

Here's how it works
When you go to check out after adding your desired items to the shopping cart you will see a drop down menu that asks you for your desired shipping method. Each method listed will have the calculated costs associated with it as determined by the weight of the item(s) in your shopping cart and the distance between our zip code and the destination zip code.

We realize that no matter which shipping method you choose, depending on where the package is being shipped to, it can be quite expensive. UPS or USPS ground shipping is the least expensive, usually, and for most of the country it is adequate, and your package will arrive still completely frozen.

Ground shipping is adequate for meat to be completely frozen upon arrival for most of the U.S.
However, some areas along the eastern seaboard will require a full week to get there by ground shipping, and there is a risk that the meat will not be entirely frozen.

Safe to refreeze if thawed but cold
As long as the meat is still cold, there is no problem with re-freezing (the USDA says that meat can be re-frozen three times) without any reduction in quality.

Packaging
Our Diamond F Brand 100% Grass Fed Beef is shipped in insulated cartons and packaged with dry ice and frozen gel packs. The weight of the box, gel packs and dry ice is factored into the shipping weight of the product
