An 80 degree variation in temperature within a week!
Mike McNeil
Printer-Friendly Format

Last week we had 30 degrees below zero one night and today it reached 50 above!

Last night it rained for a while, causing dents in the snow. When it was so cold the only redeeming factor I could find was that no bugs were present.

While the extreme cold causes the cattle to eat more hay, they do fine with it, as do the wild animals. Actually the extreme variation in temperature is probably harder on the cattle than the exreme cold.

The cold is way harder on me than it is the cattle, and the older I get the more I get it why old people go to Florida and Arizona for the winter.
