Once again, their recommendations promote a vegetarian, low fat / bad fatÂ agenda, the same drivel we’ve heard for decades, which has prompted the health crisis and obesity epidemic the U.S. is now facing.
The most dangerous of the guidelines is the one pushing an increase of the use of liquid vegetable oils like corn and soy, which are known to be detrimental to health. (Read more at the Weston A. Price Foundation web site).
Here is the exact recommendation from the guidelines:
- “Consume less than 10 percent of calories from saturated fatty acids by replacing them with monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids.”
